Hopefully most of you have noticed that the village hall car park has been extended , this phase of work has now been done . We would like to give a massive thank you to the team at Deersbrook Farm for helping, a huge amount has been done in a short space of time. 
Here we have Phil Blumfield, Chris Kipper Watson and Charlie Jarvis who have all given their time and use of their tractors and trailer for free. A big shout out to Shalford Village Store for giving a large financial contribution towards materials . A big thank you to G and B Finch for supplying the aggregate at very generous rates . Also a big thank you to Darren Radley for his help knocking the old toilet block down and the use of his roller . Also a thank you to Robert Stevenson at Shalford Hall Farm for letting us tip some of the spoil there . All of this work has been undertaken for free by everyone here and I’m very proud to be part of a community which can get things done when we come together. And yes we do hope to tarmac at least some of the car park at some point in the future but it is hugely expensive….
